Resorts World Sentosa

Having a staycation at RWS was on my to-do list and I checked it off with Han. We bought the Voyage de la Vie 2D1N Theatrical Experience package, which comes with 2 tickets to the performance, so we bought our tickets to USS separately. I enjoyed the performance very very much. Was utterly fascinated by the body contortionist boy, and also pleasantly surprised to see my school mate Jonathan Leong as one of the main characters in the show. I particularly liked the pair of magicians and Sparkles the rabbit! As well as the two babes strutting around in different costumes. :D

A lot of people who know me prolly knows that I didn’t have much of a childhood, was a latch key kid from primary school onwards, and was pretty independent by the time I was in secondary school (Disclaimer: There are no adverse effects to being a latch key kid, I love my family very much), and pretty much worked every school holiday I had. So, anyway, I really really loved USS! I liked taking pics with the mascots, going on the rides, seeing all the quirky buildings and buying myself a potion of cranberry juice (like HP pot, you know?!). I’ve never met anyone who indulged in my childishness so much. I love my baobao. :)

Bali Trip

Long over due post. I went away when 2010 began, first to Malaysia and then to Bali. Learnt how to surf, was sunburnt, had abrasions and fell into many tourist traps. Food was awesome every time, except for the first meal when we first arrived and didn’t know where to eat. Haha.

The Beginning of 2010

2010 started off nicely. :) We travelled to Kuala Lumpur and Malacca from 1 Jan to 3 Jan, then to Bali from 6 Jan to 10 Jan. Will put up Bali pics once I have all the pics from Kevin. Too lazy to upload twice.

The Malaysia road trip was something we have been talking about for the longest time and finally got down to doing it. I remember nothing from the trip, due to lack of sleep, and also because we did nothing except to eat for the entire 3 days. We then burned off all the food during the Bali trip. Haha.

Family Day Cruise

One evening during the week, dad called and said that we’re going on a day cruise on Sunday, without asking if I’m free! The conversation went like this…

Dad: Hello? This Sunday, we’re all (him, mom, bro and gf) going on a cruise, you’re going too.

Me: Huh? This Sunday? What cruise? You didn’t even ask me if I’m free!

Dad: We’re all going, so you’re going too. I help you book tickets ok.

Me: I don’t have money this month! And you didn’t even ask if I’m free!

Dad: I’m booking, I help you pay.

Me: Huh. Ok lo.

Dad: Ok, Sunday ah. Bye bye (happily)

Me: Ok, bye. (What the …)

So, (I’m not free, but) we’re in the car to Harbourfront at the moment. I’m not gonna be accessible by phone for today. Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!
