Long over due post. I went away when 2010 began, first to Malaysia and then to Bali. Learnt how to surf, was sunburnt, had abrasions and fell into many tourist traps. Food was awesome every time, except for the first meal when we first arrived and didn’t know where to eat. Haha.
Photos are already up on Facebook. You can only view it if you’re my friend, and not in the… you know, restricted list.

2010 started off nicely. :) We travelled to Kuala Lumpur and Malacca from 1 Jan to 3 Jan, then to Bali from 6 Jan to 10 Jan. Will put up Bali pics once I have all the pics from Kevin. Too lazy to upload twice.
The Malaysia road trip was something we have been talking about for the longest time and finally got down to doing it. I remember nothing from the trip, due to lack of sleep, and also because we did nothing except to eat for the entire 3 days. We then burned off all the food during the Bali trip. Haha.

3 days 2 night at Club Med Bintan. More pictures here.
One evening during the week, dad called and said that we’re going on a day cruise on Sunday, without asking if I’m free! The conversation went like this…
Dad: Hello? This Sunday, we’re all (him, mom, bro and gf) going on a cruise, you’re going too.
Me: Huh? This Sunday? What cruise? You didn’t even ask me if I’m free!
Dad: We’re all going, so you’re going too. I help you book tickets ok.
Me: I don’t have money this month! And you didn’t even ask if I’m free!
Dad: I’m booking, I help you pay.
Me: Huh. Ok lo.
Dad: Ok, Sunday ah. Bye bye (happily)
Me: Ok, bye. (What the …)
So, (I’m not free, but) we’re in the car to Harbourfront at the moment. I’m not gonna be accessible by phone for today. Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!

Tried dirt biking for the first time today, and… I don’t like it. Haha. I am not adept at controlling unstable things with wheels so I’ll prolly pass on the next dirtbiking outing. For anybody who’s interested, we went to Tristan Park, Pengarang. I was on the 125cc bike and I top the scoreboard for falling down the most times today, both times having one leg pinned down by the bike. See my battle scars below, blue black on both legs (yes, I know I have the complexion of a corpse) and a strip of sun burnt skin cos I didn’t spread my sunblock far enough my shoulder blade. Lame LOL.

As I grow older, I realise that I am more and more gu niang. LOL. Run away at the sight of fishes in my face when snorkelling, going like a turtle on off-road terrain on the bike cos I’m damn kiasee, super heart pain I have these awful blue blacks on my ghostly legs and so on. :/ Yes, I am anti gu niang, but I cannot anti something if I am one of them. Haha.
17 July: 千歳
- Past emperor’s temple, their amulets have Hello Kitty embroidered on them.
- Okura Ski. Nothing much here.
- Went to rera outlet store and bought lotsa cheap tops from GAP.
- And JJ introduced me to Make Me a Supermodel! I really thought Jonathan would win. :(
18 July: New Chitose Airport
- Plane was delayed so we spent our day shopping and eating in the airport. What a waste of time. :(
19 July: 台北
- Wanted to go up Taipei 101, but had to pay, so we didn’t go. Haha.
- Then wanted to go take pictures at some lake, but ended up at a temple. According to the locals, only locals visit that temple, so it’s prolly fate we stumbled upon it. Was kinda embarrassing cos I was not dressed adequately to visit the temple. Also, we freaking climbed up the mountain on foot to get to it. Unbelievable.
- Went to fisherman’s wharf to catch the sunset.
- Then to Shih lin night market hoping to grab some bargains. I broke the zip of a handbag and ran out of the shop without buying the bag. :x
20 July:
- Went to 故宫 in the morning, then home sweet home after.
