Went to Sentosa with KC, MZ and MZ’s colleagues last Saturday. We bought the Sentosa Choice Package where we’re entitled to 3 Experience attractions and 1 Adventure attractions for $33.90. We chose The Merlion, Butterfly Park, Fort Siloso Tours and Sentosa Luge and Skyride. Some of the pics were taken with my Palm Centro, so the quality isn’t very good. I didn’t bring my digicam cos I thought MZ’s colleague will be bringing, but we kenna fly aeroplane by her colleague. Hahaha.

We started our day by taking the Sentosa Express.

On our way to Fort Siloso, we saw these animals outside Underwater World (which was along the way). One of the turtles was swimming lopsided and kept waving its fin out of the water surface, which looked really cute, but I didn’t manage to get a good shot.

While at Butterfly Park, we saw these butterflies frolicking on some branches. Looks quite nice, but I think KC and MZ were quite terrified of the bugs and butterflies. The bugs really grossed me out. Haha.

We ended the day at the Merlion. View from the top was really nice even though some parts were under construction. This picture is now the wallpaper on my phone. Hehe.

After so much walking on Saturday, my foot hurt like mad. It’s been hurting since the M1 Asia Challenge. I thought the pain will go away by itself, but it’s already been two weeks so I thought I’d go see a chinese sinsei about it. He told me that I’ve been exercising too much and he sent me home with a bandaged foot and two days worth of koyok.

I love this phone. Too bad it’s only available for the CDMA network, otherwise I’d get an unlocked version. I’m trying to get the white color version (only color available in Singapore), then maybe Gmask or airbrush it pink. :)

Went to Pawtobello Cafe with MZ and KC last Saturday. MZ has been talking about it for the past month, but I was so busy with Japanese lessons and Asia Challenge training that I didn’t feel like going out too much. Asia Challenge ended the previous weekend, and I had my Japanese term test last Saturday, so we decided to have dinner together and go to the cafe to relax after.

While waiting for our dinner to be served (we had zi char near MZ’s place. The 虾酱鸡 is the best), MZ brought me to a hair salon. A couple who kept two toy poodles owns the salon. One of the poodles was in the shop, it’s apricot colored with a white patch on her head. Very tame girl. Her owners were very friendly and showed me videos of tricks that she can do. The couple trained their poodle so well that they can differentiate between money and trash. They’ll pick up money and pass it to their owners, and throw trash into the dustbin. Haha. So cute. I managed to carry the toy poodle and MZ was exclaiming cos when she tried to carry the poodle previously, it kept barking at her. The moment I touched the poodle, she lied down and let me carry her. Hehe. Successfully 骗到手. :P

After dinner at Pawtobello Cafe, I got a chance to molest so many dogs. :D This girl at the next table has a 9 year old miniature pinscher that was absolutely calm and did not engage in as much excitement as the younger dogs at the place. It’ll walk a few rounds around the cafe then come to me and ask me to carry her. So cute and tame. The girl was really surprised, she mentioned that the pinscher never allows strangers to carry her. Haha. So that’s the second dog I successfully 骗到手. :P

There’s also this horny shih tzu at the next table owned by a bunch of kids. It kept following Teddy thinking he’s a girl (Teddy already went for sterilisation) and shifted its attention to a female toy poodle that came into the cafe later in the evening. It has a fetish for toy poodles. Lol. The female toy poodle was together with a very red male toy poodle. They looked very cute together, dressed in mickey and minnie mouse suits. I managed to catch the male toy poodle and MZ took a picture for us.

Today was one of the rare occasions where I wore makeup to work, and I realise that I’ve reached that stage in my life where there is a huge difference between my naked face and my made up face. I look at other girls my age and envy how hassle free their complexions are, whereas mine can’t survive without a doctor’s prescription. And a doctor’s prescription might not be able to save it either.

Just yesterday, I was arguing with a friend about how much I spend on beauty products (to no results) and doctor’s prescriptions (to no drastic improvements). I was saying that I don’t really care about how I look (I really don’t. I pay for all these so that people around me will shut up. Seriously.) and he was challenging me with “Then you pay so much for your beauty products and doctor for what.”

Today, I realised why I chose to dump my income in beauty products and the doctor’s prescription.

I just want to be able to wash and go every morning, get through the day with nobody criticising my complexion, get back home, wash and go to bed every night. I don’t want to have to apply a 1245341625 step regime every morning and night anymore. :(

Went to Nirwana Resort at Bintan, Indonesia from April 10-12 last week for the M1 Asia Challenge. There were 5 teams participating from our company – M1 Risers (Male Category), M1 Surfers (Mixed Category. I realised I forgot to take a photo of them as I was blogging this! D:), M1 Flans (Mixed Category), M1 Sparks (Mixed Category) and M1 Trailblazers (my team!).

We took some photos at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal while waiting to register and to board the ferry bound for Bintan. Everybody looks so happy and refreshed here, but we looked like crap during the competition. Hahaha. Sweaty, smelly and dirty. Didn’t manage to capture everybody in that disheveled state cos I didn’t want to risk my camera dropping into the water or me falling onto it.

I went to view a puppy for sale last night. It was going for a very cheap price at $700 and usually that breed sells for $2500 on average, but I’ve never seen it go below the price of $1000.  Sounds too good to be true? So I thought I’d take a look.

When I reached the owner’s place, the puppy kept running away from us. I never got a good look at the puppy throughout the whole visit (she maintained a distance of at least 2m around us). Her owner even had the cheek to happily say: “*giggles* like that considered very good already. Sometimes she pees if she’s over excited and usually she hides behind the curtain and barks at my friends.”

When we asked her if she socialised the puppy by bringing it out, she started making lots of excuses, and as we chatted further with her, it seems that she has kept many different breeds of dogs before, but in her house there was only this other 5 year old Maltese. I have a suspicion that she will buy any dog she fancies and if it doesn’t grow up well without training, she will just sell it away. She also kept using no time as an excuse and we could see very clearly that she just wanted to get rid of the dog.  MZ asked her if she brought the dog for grooming, she said, “aiya, why waste money? I do on my own.” Guess what? She stays in landed property ok. >.> And this poodle is the only poodle I’ve met that is not white and has tear stains.

So poor thing. I want to rescue her. :(
